Took this shot in Bangalore near Sankey Tank. I was thinking of doing something new and this is what I came up with. Did some cropping and minor tweaking, other than that presented this image as it is. Please view this is in full size.

I'm not sure which gallery to post this image, kindly suggest the right one.

That's a very interesting picture, P. It looks a lot better in a larger size than it does on this page. The only thing that I might suggest, is to compose the scene a little differently. I would like to see the street light a little further down and to the right, but not so much that it is in the center. ...As for the gallery, I am not really sure. Is there one for night photography?

Have to agree...seeing this in larger view gives it the justice it deserves. Wonderful shot! Like how you compaired the two.

I agree with Jimbo, it might be nice to have placed the streetlamp in a different spot and a bit further away. But I do like your idea a lot. Being a poet I was thinking IMHO of a different title too. Such as "fiction and non-fiction" or maybe
"Night Lights". I really appreciate people trying out fun things with their cameras. You might put it in Nature Gallery or maybe even Still Life? Nice work Prashanth! Verena

I think you did very well with this Prashanth. To have captured the clouds shows you took the picture at just the right time of day. One suggestion that would require manipulation would be to take two shots. one like this and one with the moon in focus. Then blend the two shots together with both the streetlight and the moon in focus.

Very nice job, Prashanth - I would recommend lightening the background slightly to show those clouds better.
