My wife said Red should be sweet, but this one is bit harsh. I did a tiny winy edit (just tweaked curves in photoshop). Rest is unalteared and presented as it is. So what do you think?

Good morning, Prashanth....

This shot is a real eye opener at any time of the day. For some reason I have great difficulty photographing flowers. I especially have problems with white or red flowers in direct sunlight. Excellent detail, focus and clarity in your posting, as I can see a cobweb and little particles of seed bits and the slight imperfections in the petals. There appears to be some noise in the red petals in the back which is one reason I stay away from shooting red flowers. Nice depth of field with the blurry background. Thanks for sharing.

Red is a difficult colour to photograph especially with the sun shining on it because the sunlit area shows up rather light coloured. You have done a beautiful job here with the colour spread equally on the petals.

Very bright and alert. The red is fiery, but very eye appealing. The dof is great. You did a really nice job on this closeup.

I know very well by my experiments, this red flowers has the red of most difficult to take photos. You've done very acceptable work on this bright red. Also I liked background very much. Good work my friend.
