You really captured the essence of youth in this stylised portraiture.
The posture of your subject ... is excellent. It readily conveys ... boredom, preoccupation with what news may come from his cell phone. It's a pose I see every minute practically.
Caveats? If I may be so bold ... I think ... think I understand that that the area of wall that he is leaning against and its' differences are to break up the setting somewhat? It presents some visual confusion for me. Not a great deal, mind you.
Don't stop investigating and exploring your first loves of art. I truly appreciate your photographic skills and talents ... but, illustration (and now digital for me as well) is and was my first love.
Let me say this in closing ... excellent work ... and I hope you are feeling better. :o)
woweee Priyantha! You put an amazing amount of effort into creating these images and you must get a lot of satisfaction from seeing the results! I am in awe at your talent! your second biggest fan (Kostas is your first) lol! :)
"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity."
...live well ...love much ...laugh often ..... mygallery
I’m very impressed Priyantha. If you could get some texture into the end of the brick walls they would look a more natural. That’s a suggestion not a criticism. Nevertheless I am impressed, you put your heart and soul into it and it shows. The young fellow’s concentration is so apparent I can almost feel it.
