Wow, the sunlight is so intense! A beautiful shot, even with the flares. Your compositon is outstanding and the silo'd trees and the color are gorgeous.

thanks for the compliments, got a bunch of these but this is one of the just right ones...no tweaks necessary. quite a few in portrait mode also, I was consciously trying to "frame" the pics with some of the surroundings.

The amazing thing is that this is about how it was in person....just stunning, really. I thought the flares actually added something to this one, just enought to be there without obscuring the picture.

And a correction....this is really Lake Michigan, from the Upper Peninsula side. Was up by Superior all vacation long.

Very nice. The composition flows. I like the flare balancing the suntrack on the water. If you consider a retouch, I'd leaf in on the small greenish blob, making it peek through.
