You know that point.. after you've been blissfully staring at the Christmas lights.. that.. things start to blur?

The lights then becoming slightly amorphous dancing shapes?

This is.. kind of like that.

Fabulous work here Les. These are my favorite colors and so naturally I am drawn to this beautiful render. I love your quality use of line, color, space and form here and how it appears that you first created this as one "complete" image to start with and then you separated it into the block form..... but maybe not:) Wonderful work!

The Rectangle variation/plugin accounts for much of the 'tiled' look.

And..

Thanks very much, Bruce.. always enjoy reading your incisive and insightful comments.

Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. :o)

This is downright hypnotizing! My eyes start moving all over the place...up and down, side to side and it's hard to stop them. It seems there should be music to go along with this...like a Trans-Siberian Orchestra song! Outstanding work, Les.

Thanks very much for the kind comments and appraisals.

One thing that has become rather apparent.. to me, at least.. is the fact that this fractal does not show as well during daylight hours.

Ambient lighting.. kind of, sort of.. makes or breaks this one.

That nonsense aside..

Thanks again, peeps. :o)

Just love that tiny bit of cold blue between the warm sparkles of the Xmas lights.

Hi Les! I really like that plugin that you used on this. It gave it a shine in many of the different tiles. I had Apophysis 7x but something happened to it or my computer. It just gives me a never ending error message now. I really liked that program too. This is a great work!

Thanks, Twinkel and Frank.

Appreciate yous taking the time to share your thoughts. :o)

@Frank: Re: Apophysis 7x.

I am still working through some of the program's shortcomings now (in my opinion). And I didn't install the compatibility option for 32-bit for my OS; Windows 7.. and I wish that I had.

Christmas tree viewed through stained glass window... or is this view from indoors ? Either way it makes a warm and peaceful wallpaper - all year long by my standards!
This year's resolution was to start working in abstract, fractals etc - but alas no time yet... :)

Simple some times works well.. when things are left to the observer's eyes and imagination? Perhaps?

That aside.. thanks again, for taking the time to stop by and share your thoughts, Vicki. Again, muchly appreciated. :o)
