The Bank of Caedes.net just recently released a new bank note.

It is legal commenting tender and accepted on all images and comments posted.

But.. don't spend it all in one place. Remember.. saving 10% is a good rule of thumb towards artistic and creative freedom.

This will be placed in the "Caedes" gallery, as it's been a while since we've had any new images in that one. And.. if anyone is interested in having some fun themselves.. you can find a good good quality .jpg of the Caedes spider.. here (also in the "Caedes" gallery section of the Mains).

..//.\\. The background is a fractal created in Apophysis 7x.15c. Starting from a blank flame.. so, no worries.. no scripts were harmed in it's creation. The font used comes courtesy and free from dafont.com. .//.\\..

..//.\\. All comments welcomed.. feel free to share your thoughts. .//.\\..

p.s. Tip of the hat to Tootles for the inspiration.

Well look who is back, and what a super cool fractal to come back with. Les I have nothing to offer but that I really like what you did with this one. The color combo, and design and well everything I see here is very pleasing to look at, and would look good on a monitor. Ok will save at least 10% gotta go with the rule of thumb! :) tigs=^..^=

I think because it is tax season.. that the '10%' thought has been at the forefront of me pea brain.

... ...

I really should follow my own advice..

(*signs cheque.. slips it into the envelope with return*)

Thanks, Sandi.

As always.. appreciate your words and input. :o)

OK then....I am cashing in 900 credits and saving 100. I can't figure out how to sign it though. Can anyone tell me how to get black Sharpie off my monitor?

Clearly you don't understand how ransom demands work. I'm pretty sure they insist on small unmarked bills. Unless of course Caedes is suffering from hyper-inflation; then carry on.

So how many cookies will this buy?

Good design work and a great looking image.

Laura.. owe you double thanks here.

First, for the fav and save.

And on that note.. I took a look at your favs (colour me yellow, am a curious guy and interested to see what others fav when the thought strikes).. and found this photo by Cornelius; aka corngrowth.. "Kruzenshtern Outward Bound ".

It now resides in the Main Galleries.. and deservedly so.

Going to chalk this one up as the proverbial 'win-win'. :o)

Wendell.. you just might have inadvertently given me the inspiration for the next couple of images.

... ...

That is, of course.. unless my demands are met..

(*sounds of a collection being taken up are heard in the background*)

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and for the laughs.

All appreciated. :o)

Well I have to give you credit for this one and all its' complexities, creativity, and color choices...well worth the time and effort it appears was needed to achieve this end result.

".. well worth the time and effort it appears was needed to achieve this end result."

You.. have no idea (recalls the incremental manipulations of transforms).. then, again.. it would appear that you do, Pat.

Thanks very much for the astute and kind appraisal. :o)

As I suspected.. not accepted at shoe stores.

Sorry.

Thanks, Els. Appreciate you taking the time to stop by and share your thoughts. :o)

(p.s. Now candy and confectionery stores? Like for fudge? That's a different legal tender situation.. always accepted. ;o) )

Thank you, Connie.

Given the 'busyness' of the fractal.. seemed suited for the creative 'twist' of the presentation as a bank note, if you will.

Appreciate you stopping by. :o)

Very unique idea Les. Just got through sending dear old Uncle S. a pile of my money. I doubt they would have appreciated this kind of tender though even though it is beautifully designed. I like the 1000 CREDS fading at the right hand corner. That was icing on your Caedes tender. Nice choice of fractal.
