I like all the diagonals. Especially the subtle one where you used a brighter middle section bordered on each side with darker areas. Best wishes in the contest.

Excellent render that meets the contest topic 'Diagonal' properly, Les. The by the Japanese cherry blossom 'framed' setting sun is the well known cherry (lol) on top of the cake. Really a bonus!

The off-center Japanese cherry blossom/sun design is a great focal point. The pattern of diagonal lines and graduated lighting wouldn't be as nice without it. Good luck in the contest!

I would agree on the note of the setting sun/blossoms facet completing this one. Had to scratch me pea brain to figure that out and still be.. erhm.. in the line with the overall 'feel'/look and other the design elements?
