interesting! 3D it is! i know little about this world of fractals. its hard for me to give any opinion honestly just due to the fact i dont know fractals. i do know what my eyes like. i do like darker colors with blue's being one of my fav's. the design looked at one way, looks like something thats of danger, coming to land to take the world over. then looked at in another way, ribbons of harmless flower pedals.

Our long-absent friend, Tealeaves Lori, taught me to appreciate fractals (and also their complexity, which is why I've only--with laughable results--tried creating just one) and this one is a beauty, Les. While it does resemble a flower with dragonflies inhabiting the petals, it also looks a little bit like a fractured wormhole. As my avatar would suggest, I often place high-contrast fractals like this in the context of deep space.

Faved.

If I say that this wonderful fractal has to viewed at full screen, in fact I have said something superfluous, because at thumbnail size one can't enjoy its splendid details.

I agree what 'Nik' has said above.

Super work again, Les. Kudos!

Oh, my, I find this dark blue work so beautiful! Your use of negative space is perfect. Your design shows such strong control of artistic techniques. Basically, you have shown us what talent can do.

Good entry. Clearly the the black region is the "Negative Space."
However, you stole my thunder. I was planning a fractal based entry also. I might still do it, but you have beaten me to it with a very challenging picture. Good Luck.

I'm still using your last blue piece as my desktop screen, but I'll have to change now and add another beauty. This is a fine work and a wonderful entry.

"Bit dark, no?"

Hehe, just kidding.
You've certainly twisted those mathematical functions of Apo into a thing of beauty on this one.

You are too kind, Nik.

Thank you.

And Lori; aka tealeaves.. provided lots of inspiration for me. Anything she touched/tried.. creatively.. was always worth the time to visit and take in visually.

She has tremendous natural talent.
