A very nice perspective. I really like the colours that you have captured and the composition, although simple ... it is quite eye catching.
I took a quick peek at your galleries and profile. Some great landscapes, so allow me to extend another greeting and welcome you to the site.
Now, I haven't looked through all of your images yet, however ... I will say this ... the image sizes that are currently available on your photo here and others from what I can tell ... if you can ... if you can, upload to the largest size possible.
My understanding is, that even if you were to exceed the 1600 X 1200 image size, it would get scaled down automatically. (If you have any issues, go to the discussion forums and there is plenty of help available.)
Now, the why? In case you were wondering ... at these two viewing sizes, well, it does not do your work justice. Simple. This is a beautiful shot and I would love ... love to see it in all it's glory. 'K, having said that ... back to our regularly scheduled commentary ...
Yes, this looks peaceful and tranquil. By framing the shot as you have with the purple flowers in the foreground, it really elevates this one. You caught some nice contrast in the different textures, as well. Great work.
I feel like I am fading. I've lost the Holy Ground. Maybe there's a chance, that the lost will be found.
If you saw a possum on the side of the road, would you too?
A very nice capture. The horizon has a slight tilt but it's not severe. The composition is good and the color of the flowers helps lead your eye into the image. Well done.
