This is a superb shot. In thumbnail it looks like a painting and in full size even better painting. Many thanks and congratulations. Am so much impressed that I partly lost my communication skills ... Great ...

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within. -Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

What a most beautiful photo! It looks like a painting done by the old masters...fantastic depth and colour. The tops of the buildings are just so good too...and the curve of the arches and the curve of the pathway to the left..wow..just a wonderul shot!!

Nice shot...with great colors and depth.
Its a strange idea that say 200 years ago this looked exactly the same.

I put all of my wallpapers into a slideshow. Everytime this picture (Monday Morning) comes around it gives me a nice warm feeling. That is what photography and sharing photographic images is all about, - the ability to be able reach out and touch the emotions of others. All the ingredients for a good picture here. Nature, antiquity, architecture and the balance of old buildings offset by the more modern neatly kept lawn and flower beds in the left of the image. The craft upon the water an added bonus.
Photographers usually "see" more of the world because they are always looking for that next special shot. You have certainly found it in this picture Quentin. Well done, and thank you.
