You see, when you don't write your list you forget things, now you have to walk away the way back! Nice shot though, the colors here are really good and I do like the road in this shot but I'm not too happy with the phone wires, nice shot though and high marks.

pretty good.
serene and powerful image, like one of those from movies.
Looking to the horizon, and think about the road that lie before me.
Thanks for this, it's one of the best photographic images i've seen anywhere.

I absolutely love this photo! The softness of the sunlight on the clouds and on the fields...and the depth of the road going to wherever..And this is even a great shot of the power line poles..usually they are horrible..but you did this just right..THis is just wonderful!! a bigtime ten//ten for you!!

i must agree. I don't see anything anything negative in this shot other then the undeserving rating. I even like the slightly titlted feel in this one.(that suprises me:P) Very well done.

Stunning! Rich quality and it brings back memories from my childhood when I went to my grandfathers farm. Excellent photo.

Giggling. Been there (not necessarily here) and done that!....sigh. Still worth the rural living though. Great shot for all reasons already well stated. My first thought also was "Wow, he even has those power lines looking great!" Building is nice and straight so I'm glad you didn't attempt any tilt fix on this.

Great job. That is a good example of the right person in the right place at the right time. Never mind the technique, which cannot be criticised here, but the atmosphere of the photo is just awsome.

Excellent rural shot, Quentin. I don't know what people have against the wires, but they really add to the depth of the photo in this case. Also, can tell it's not the US, we still have yellow lines (at least in the northeast.) Top marks on this one.

WOW. amazing photo. The lighting is warm and spectacular, and the scenery is beautiful. Not only that, the composition is great and the texture of the road looks nice. There isn't much you can do about the wires. 8/10

I like the power line. It adds the remote feel to this place, a solitary phone line...

Nice!!!! So many interesting bits in this picture, it makes a great desktop background... lots of different colours and spots that draw the eye. For those that don't like the wires you can easily photoshop them out, but I think they help draw the eye to the vanishing point that the road leads you to.

An unusual shot, nice and kind of calming;-) both clouds and the rays of the setting Sun make it unique;-)
