He cannot pardon a turkey because he has never learned to "talk turkey". Funny post Lisa. I think he once said that he can pardon himself if it becomes necessary !!!
Lisa, because I'm not an U.S.A. citizen, I can't express my opinion about the present American politics. But your satiric/humorist creation has made me curious and therefore I was searching on the net for some 'background' information. This article, along with many others, is what I've found. Very interesting discussion! Don't know whether your perfectly done creation (from artistic point of view) was meant to be an entry for manic Monday, but to me it has a far higher level: Top notch humor/satire, keeping the eyes wide open, not only for American people!

He did, indeed. Six months into his presidency, he formally sought out if he could pardon himself and his family. (Pfft! No signs of guilt there, huh?) Then publicly announced that he could, if he so chose.
You can certainly express an opinion, but you are probably wise not to wander into the muck of American politics. It is ... insane.
Thank you for your extremely thoughtful and well-written comment. And thank you for posting the article link for others. That was very kind and informative.
Most importantly, thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful comment and for recognizing my satire as the humor it was intended to be.
Funny, Lisa. ;oP
