This Is My Attempt At A "Foofy Friday" Shot. Close Enough As Far As I Am Concerned.

Anyway, The Rains Stopped Briefly, And I Was Working In The Yard Feverishly, But It Has Started Raining Here Again; So My Yard Work And Exterior Chores Are Delayed While The Weeds Get Healthier By The Day. I Will Make A Few Comments On Your Images And Post A Few Shots As Time Allows. Send Me A PM And Let Me Know If I Missed Anything Earth Shattering.

Dorothy

Good shot of this succulent with nice colors. A rare place for such a flower to bloom.

Very nice and colorful! The outer petals look good against the wood.

I wondered why you've haven't cloned out the remaining parts of the spider web, Dorothy. I suppose however that it was your goal to show us the 'world' as it is. Good NFFFI (Not Flowering Foofy Friday Image) however.

Well this succulent is pretty, and very clever to grow on bare wood. Nice to see you posting a FFriday image.

The only earth shattering thing you probably are unaware of that I know about is that New Zealand has just been hit by Cyclone Cook resulting in quite a lot of flooding and damage. We missed most of it where we are.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Dorothy, This really turned out nice! Very unusual to see something like this, and I like how it looks against the fence. Very good textures and coloring. I have nothing earth shattering to pm you about. tigs=^..^=

The colors are spectacular! And that woodgrain is THE perfect backdrop to the plump granny smith apple green and blushing tip succulent. The shadow is also visually dramatic and appealing.

Beautiful photograph!
