Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.
-Josemaria Escriva
There have been a lot of intelligent and thoughtful comments left already, but this moves me, and I just wanted to tell you that of course it is a perfect macro and the coloring and the detail are fantastic, as anyone can see, but I particularly like the title and how it so aptly describes what's going on in this pic. It's the angle that has me glued to this image and the way you can feel and see the butterfly walking up the leaf at an angle. and all the angles work so well here..I wonder how long he walked and if he flew away seconds after you took this. It's so clear and close that I feel like I am able to walk along with him. Excellent job, as always. :)PJ
It feels so strange sometimes to see an insect so closely and discover all those unknown textures. The butterfly (minus the wings) looks like an alien. This shot is stellar and I love the title too, it is so poetic. :)
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people.
