lately, i've fallen horribly behind in my thanks and comments. I'll catch up, but until I do, please know all your kind words are greatly appreciated.
He's got some BIG eyes doesn't he Robert ;) Looks like he was caught int he act and trying to get away from being caught with food ;) Nice clarity in his face and excellent closeup. Glad you shared him...maybe he knows my youngster that got separated from mom ;)

I don't know that I'd want to look that closely at a squirrel except through a 400mm lens! Great shot! Kids would love this on their walls.

What I Like About This Composition: 1. Unique perspective. I am nose to nose with this squirrell. This immediately grabs the viewer's eye. 2. The portions of the squirrell that is in focus. What needs to be in focus IS in focus. His middle and backend don't need to be. 3. He's doing something, not just sitting there.

How striking. I have never seen such a squirrel image. He looks huge. Is he the same one that was eating salad? A great capture. :)

I really like this approach to shooting that squirrel image. The head is in clear focus and the body fades softly to the background. Makes a well presented image.

A few years ago I rescued a baby that had fallen from the tree...and my little Nutter Butter looked just like this cutie! Sadly Nutter Butter passed away despite mine and others attempts to get it to feed...so thank you for this fantastic image, for bringing back sweet memories. This shot is fantastic.
