Apophysis, Photofiltre...I chose to go with a white background because I felt that it showed off the colors a bit more. Enjoy!

Fantastic work here, LOVE the colors. Brilliant shades and the design created is quite awesome. I am really enjoying this, it could be used as a really cool desktop. So bright viewing full view. Great work!

You lost your symmetry when you added the 5 colored spikes the right. I know that was your goal, but I thought it would look better as a symmetrical image. That is just my taste though. I know these take time and patience to create.

Is there a way to deliberately do that in Apophysis? Occasionally I strike one and then usually lose it.

Well, what can I say that hasn't been said?! Definently a keeper. Very inspiring. I like the rainbow coloring-can you play with it and get it to continue down the spiral? I still haven't figured that out!!

My kids love looking at the pictures here, and they came across this one today. Don't know how I missed it before. Such a lovely, detailed image, and the white background offsets the colors perfectly!
