Debbie... here is what I did, and remember I am not a pro... I have not even taken a course in photography. I downloaded this image... noted a slight tilt - so I rotated it 1° CW (I keyed on the posts of the roof- I always look for something away from the edges!) Because I had a certain heavy feeling from the black overhead, I then changed it from 300 dpi to 450 dpi to get it to more than fill my screen. I then changed the canvas size... to my screen size... 1680x1050 and saved it. Upon viewing it I noticed I was missing the framing effect of your posts at the side. So I painted them back in... saved... viewed and was satisfied. I did all this to be certain that my initial thought that you should have zoomed in or taken a step or two forward would have helped the image. the important part of the frame in your image is at the top... but too much of it is negative! The side framing (apparent posts) could always be added, if you so desire. :o)

A lovely looking scene, wonderful colours and silhouettes. Nice framing and reflection. Thanks for sharing

Con is full of horseshit. Oh, here. Let me change the color; and let's take out some of the water; and let's insert twice as much sun; oh, and let's...gimme a break! I've stood at this exact location and this image perfectly captures what one sees, which is the true nature of a photograph. The problem with Con is he wants the scene to be different that what it really is. If that's the case, he needs to go to something like Bryce, or some other fantasy software. You perfectly captured what you saw and presented what was captured. I get really fed up with people who substantially change their photograph from its original and think that's the real photo. Or who ask why didn't someone take that or that out of the photo. The camera captured it. Almost anything else is actually unethical. This is the photo. It's great just as it is. No need to go through a lot of rigamarole because someone else's idea of perfection isn't met. Thank you so much for posting this incredibly lovely photo that is absolutely fine just as you shot it and accurately reflects the real scene as nature and architects presented it. What an incredible frame to a great sunset.

LOL, having read the posts before mine, I'm about half afraid to say anything.
However, I like this shot as is. Oh sure, maybe you could take out a little negative space at the top, but it's not going to make it any more or less beautiful than it already is.
Normally I hate sunset shots, they all look the same to me. But this one is lovely, and I'm keeping it! LOL

It looks fine to me Debbie. I was attracted to it by its beauty and nothing else.
The black and gold so so well together. I just wish I had taken it.

This is a gorgeous shot...what photographers live for...to be in the right place at the right time to capture that perfect sunset. Just beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
