Wow, beautiful. I first wondered if you had painted it, but you say taken, which I assume is with a camera - then what?

Hi Mary & Steb, glad you both like it. This was taken with a digital camera, and the only thing I did was apply the "difference clouds" filter in Photoshop Elements. The original photo is nice as well, but I liked this better.

Yes, Difference clouds can have a great effect on the right picture. I also love the "Color burn" effects when they work right.

Nice work here reese, reminds me of "The Wizard of Oz" for some reason. Maybe the feild of sleep inducing flowers? I think they were poppys weren't they?

Thanks Sam for your nice comments. I just recently found the "color burn" effect, but haven't found the right image to apply it yet. I think you are right about the poppies.

Wow, did you edit it in Photoshop at all? The flowers really stand out, it has an amazing effect of the flowers popping out!

What a unique use of effects and colors. Love the originality. The contrast is remarkable.

I immediately downloaded this image - It is a gorgeous flower field. Excellent effects and whatever manuplations you did. Super variety of flowers and colors. It all goes so well on the violet/purples. I too, thought this was a painting. You can be most proud of this awesome work & its a fantastic wallpaper too :*>
