This image really appeals to me - I think you've done a great job. If you want a nit-picking comment - I would like to have seen more of the dense grass at the bottom of the picture, just a bit more darkness to balance the lighter part of the image. Overall though very good.
I agree with you about the grass, mythica. But...there was a building I cropped out below it. If I knew how to to it, I would have patched over it so I could have kept more of the grass (I'm still not too good in PS yet - no time to do the tutorial ;D ). Thanks for your continued support!
I'm also a great fan of grass as a subject. It's one of those things most people don't notice. There are so many different kind of grass too. All beautiful in their own way. I like what you did here. The lighting is really great but I'm a bit disturbed by the little piece of tree (?) I see in the bottom to the left. (That's just a small thing really. ;-) More nit-picking in other words. ^_^)
Agree with you Klas - at the time I did not know how to remove it from the photo other than cropping it out. If I did this, I lost most of the grass which I liked. Since I now know how to do this, I may try to edit it out. Thanks for your comments - I really appreciate it!
I've lived surrounded by ugly, dead marsh reeds like those all my life, and never have I seen them in such a beautiful light. Thank you for the new perspective.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them, and you have their shoes.
