The only thing I dislike are the single tree-trunks which mark the trail. I wished they had not been there... I find them disturbing somehow... without the tree-trunks the whole scenery would look more mystical. Nevertheless you did a great job, the capture of the light is really fantastic...
Exellent capture. I really like the soft look and relaxing feeling you get out of this.I really like the angle of capture, it relates the hight of the trees very well.
I agree with BernieSpeed about the trunks marking the trail (they only last about 100m out of several km) but this was the only spot to get this shot... On the other hand, I look at it, and I think it conveys a "path" for those not necessarily familiar with hiking. Thus, a path into the mystic unknown, from the "known."
I would find this photo of much less interest myself without that unique little trail. I think it adds a great deal to your composition and like it's placement within the photo too. The lighting is certainly unique throughout the entire background and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't glare at me. An impressive shot in my book.
Well ... I am impressed. I think this is stunning.
I love the light in this image ... it seems otherwordly. And I have no idea how you managed to capture this light, given the clarity of the foregorund or for that matter, the trunks of the trees. Amazing.
Fantastic creativity, truly. A very powerful image. I am actually biting my tongue? (fingers, in this case?) From saying something trite ... because this image is certainly not that at all.
Well, looks like another diamond found in the Caedes mine for me.
Great work, highly imaginative. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, if i had been walking through that trail... the eerieness of it would have driven me insane..
But its a beautiful picture. I can hardly look away from this, this is a very creative image, and im glad you shared it
Cheers
