I had just arrived in Carcassonne after 21 hours of travelling and getting lost on French highways. I shot the photo in a fog of disorientation and fatigue, and I can barely remember it. When I looked at it the next day I thought, "Where did this come from ?"
Anyway thanks for the comments. It does a body good.
Hey Regmar. For such a commercial setting this is certainly a wonderfully mystic photo. The lighting is wonderful and it would make a great base for creating a fantasy scene.
I wanted to stop by and congratulate you on your honor as artist of the week. I have always enjoyed your photos which are so often out of the mainstream of everything else you see on Caedes. It was nice to read about your journey into photography and I look forward to those marsh shots if you can get a boat in the water. I'm sure one of these days I'll be able to take some more caedes-worthy photos and post something new.
