Thanks, ya'll. The subject in the photo is a friend of mine who was showing me around southern California, and didn't know I was sneaking up behind her with a camera. The spot was so lonely and desolate that I had to have a photo to remember it. It took me about five shots to get one that counted.

I recognized this bit of track as soon as I saw the thumbnail. It's just north of El Capitan state beach. I've stood here many times checking out the surf. Great shot. I just posted a shot "Reflections of Summer" that was shot near here. Same girl too!! (just kidding)
