NICE shot Regmar. Only thing that could make this better would be for the bright light in the window to be out, but even so, the black and white is perfect here, and what a great dramatic scene. Thanks for sharing!
Actually it (like "Morning Prayers") was shot at Manresa Retreat House for Men about 45 minutes outside New Orleans on the Mississippi River. I am heeding your advice, Piner. Every year I make a retreat there, and prowl the grounds (1 mile by 1/2 mile) for about three days shooting photos and downloading them to my laptop in my free time. It's amazing how beautiful this place is. The Jesuits run it, and they have an amazing aesthetic sense. You could throw your camera up in the air, and it would come down with four award-winning shots.
Thanks for the suggestion about the window, but except for minor rotations I don't like to do any post-production work on my photos. They stand pretty much as they were taken. Too much of the film photographer still in me maybe? I don't know. Maybe I'll try to get it next year :-)
