What makes this for me are the strong, dark, repeating shapes of the tree trunks on the right balanced against the delicate lighting on the left. The trees make strong verticals, the grass adds a short diagonal, and there are three horizontals, in the plants, water's edge and tree limb. Add the colors to the strong forma and composition, and I think you have an excellent shot.
