Thanks everyone. The rain sluicing off the statue is what gave it that oil-painting look. I was just lucky to be there when it happened.

I liked the original, but it was a little pale. The rework is a vast improvement and a wonderful image, thank you. I hope the person who was looking for this image recently is paying attention :)

Expanded, this has a tapestry-like quality that is very pleasing. The color separation between foreground and background adds a strong sense of depth to frame the statue.

Hey Regmar, glad you loaded it again. The first one was beautiful, so I don't know why it got such a lukewarm reception. I have been to your site as well, and I think all your pix are gorgeous...you are a talented photographer.

PS...I quite enjoyed the first one, because with the rainfall, it almost looked as if it were not a photo at all, but rather a painting created by some renaissance painter. I like the details in this one, but loved the atmosphere in the first. And I was the one searching for it, and yes, I have been watching!!! :)

Beatiful image, I love the lighting around, it has a full transparent energy, and a pure sensation of feel alive, its magnificent how the tall angel poses with style and position to catch the sins flying around, trying to skip them from the kid....cause the children take everything around them, they are innocents, and they dont know "bad" or "good"....
