It was the first nice weekend of the year and we all turned out for a day in the park. Thousands of people thronged the footpath and indeed every open space outdoors, desperate to cram in one last moment of sunshine before winter closed in again to honor the groundhog's promise. This view was the last of that glorious day, and I will hold it to remember that spring is just around the corner. Shot with Olympus e-Volt e300 and 50-200mm lens - F-5.0, shutter-1/50th ISO100

Great cityscape photo. I particularly love the warm hues brought forth by the wonderful lighting. Perfect balance in the composition too. :)

Every morning I will rest my arms a while upon the windowsill of heaven, gaze upon God, and with that vision in my heart turn strong to meet my day.

Reg, this is good enough o be used for a postcard of New York! The gold over tones are fabulous and everything looks like a miracle in progress. The elongated reflections are breathtakingly beautiful. Your detail and clarity is outstanding for a night capture. Very well done my friend and right into my favorites folder on my hard drive so I can run it on mys screensaver slideshow! Thank you for sharing this beauty with us...and if I have not already done it. Please let me wish you & Lourdes....

Every mammel on the planet develops a natural balance or a certain equalibrium with the world around them but we humans do not, we move to an area and we multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way we can survive is to spread to another area. There is only one other organism on this planet that follows the same pattern, a virus. Human beings in the intrest of the planet are a desiese a cancer of this eath. (Kinda makes you proud dosen't it)

Unique photo of the skyline. I find the city images very interesting. I like the golden lights - the wonderful reflection in the water-magnificent! Also a pretty sky of nite creeping in. Excellent and 10s for you :>

I think that your shot would benefit a lot from a simple brightness / contrast adjustment. I tweaked it just a little in p-shop and it is very stunning. Great capture.
