The office building where I work overlooks the Mississippi River, and every day at work I see scenes of beauty that I want to capture. Right now the marine animals are out in force, and the wood ducks are in full plumage. The problem I have is that I work on a Department of Defense installation and they frown on cameras and photography. I had to sneak this one out the window of my car.

The lighting and color on the duck is absolutely fab. Love the title too. ^_^

Love the lighting here Reg. I also like the contrast between the soft feathers of the duck and the harshness of the old metal/steel that it is sitting on. I presume that is the river in the background? Great shot. Right to my favorites it goes. Glad you sneaked that shot...good going!! Thanks for taking a risk for me!! ;=)
