The day we arrived in Prague was rainy, cold, and overcast. The wife took me to see the old Soviet engineering school she attended back in the 80's. She was anxious to see if it was still there, and it was, though more brightly lit as is everything in Prague these days. As we walked to get there I saw this view, and again asked my patient wife to endure the cold damp wind off the Vltava as I set up the tripod and began the ritual of photography that punctuates our lives. I hope you like it.

This is a really beautiful capture. I love the comp. The frame really sets off the image.

For me, I like how the lines move my eyes from the bridge to the buildings in the back. Great shot!

My gosh..I actually wish I could stand on my chair and clap!! This is just magnificent!! I love the arches of those little bridges, I remember them from when I lived in England for a while...they are sooooo photogenic...and with your getting those gorgeous architectural buildings, how can you go wrong..what a beautiful photo, you must have had a most fantastic time over there...wish you would write and tell me about some of it...hugs to you..verena

Life is a great big
canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can!
Just think that Szczecin in some 800-900 km from Prague and I have never been there ... Shame on me !
