I have for many years watched this abandoned house sink into greater and greater disrepair. One weekend in May when my wife and children were out of town I walked around the place looking for the right angle, the right composition, the right - whatever. I liked this one.

I think you got it just right ! The B/W is perfect and the different horizontal lines of the shed and the house complement each other. It gives an air of sadness and rejection but it looks like it still has some life in it yet.
It is good to see a photo from you - it has been a while. I hope there will be more :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Reminds me of a scene from the Depression. Your angle leaves much to our imagination and makes us want to walk around the house too.
B/W was a good choice.
Nice to see a photo from you.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
