While visiting the Amish country of Indiana I saw a lad driving this horse-driven haycutter - it took me nearly two complete revolutions of the field to catch him at a place I thought would make a nice backdrop. Please let me know what you think. I'm a "newbie" to Caedes.

Hi Richard- Welcome to Caedes. Great photo you've submitted here. The horses are so big and that young man is adorable. The clarity is very good on this.

Every morning I will rest my arms a while upon the windowsill of heaven, gaze upon God, and with that vision in my heart turn strong to meet my day.

Richard: Very nice first submission. This pic reminded me of the time I was driving through the Amish countryside in NW Pennsylvania. I stopped along the road to take a photo of the beautiful farmland and I had not noticed three small Amish children sitting in their yard just down the road. Once they saw my camera they all immediately and as if on cue covered their faces, I'm sure with instructions from their parents. Obviously, this young man was not so camera-shy. Welcome to Caedes. You'll enjoy it. Nice folks and some good photography on display.

A great image Richard. In the area I live in.... I frequently see the Amish in their horse drawn buggy's, but rarely get the chance to see them working in the field. So this is a real treat for me. Very nice composition & welcome to Caedes.

Wonderful shot Richard, caught just at the right moment (where No 2 horse has lifted his head slightly). I have the greatest admiration for the Amish community; must be a very hard-working existence. I love the way you've captured a sense of this in your photo. Excellent!

A splendid image - kind of takes one back in time. Excellent clarity and composed beautifully. I like all that freshly cut grass and the bright eyed lad. Top mark for this.
