The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was, is lost, for none now live who remember it. -Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring
Lavender, indeed. You must have shot this photo during June or July. That seems to be when the lavender blooms. You really scored with this image, too. The converging lines of the lavender plants lead the eye right to the fascinating geometric shapes of the building which is the subject, and behind it the hillside forms a diagonal which is very pleasant. Finally the cypresses on the left anchor the image and give the viewer something to limit his wandering eyes. Just perfect.
Hee Robert Jan, wat goed dat ik eens door je gallery aan het kijken ben, deze plaat had ik een jaar geleden op een kalender staan.
En het leukste is nog dat ik jouw foto's beter vind!
Prachtig gedaan!
hmm strange, i recognise this photo, and i think it's a poster in our French classroom. You probably saw this was the best place to take the photo from though, and you did a really good job of it.
I am just a novice. I haven't uploaded anything here yet. Please don't mind, but do you think the picture would look better with a little more sky and if the picture was taken while sitting?
Just asking for knowledge's sake! No disrespect meant!
