Fascinating shot, perhaps more so to an American. I assume the vertical "slats" from the roof are to control ice, and I wonder if the window is bricked up to keep a small child from crawling out. Nice red/blue contrast plus interest from the shadows. It is also interesting to see the slanting lower window sill (ice again?) and I wonder why the brick underneath the windows is different from the wall. It looks lighter in color, perhaps they have been coated with something.
