SAJ, you are surprisingly poor in detective work! The rest of the shoe sole owner IS buried in the sand! This is elementary, sarge Jimbo. Where have I put that pen...? Can I borrow yours? Now, what do we have, one foot wearing a black soled shoe, sports kind. You, guys, please continue digging until you uncover the rest of the owner and when the person is alive call the ambulance, if not, call the forensic lab.

SAM is right...looks like a crime scene here...very suspicious...best we cordon off the area...at the very least we get this stretch of golden beach sand all to ourselves...a most unusual find and great clarity and detail.
