The Afsluitdijk is the North Sea Dike, quit impressive stuff being 30 km. long, and the more so considering that it was built in the early part of last century. The title is a bit misleading, in the sense that it does not show the dike, because the photo was taken _from_ the dike, looking out to the open (or closed, rather) sea.

Wonderful capture Rob ... B & W suits this image so well as the sky / clouds appears to be a bit stormy. I'm enjoying the textures of the rock in the foreground & the comp is spot on. Very well done & thank you for the info. Faves ... I love it!

Ask your Congressmen and Senators why our existing wells aren't pumping more than 3 days a month? There a lot of unused capacity in existing wells.
