Between the combed sands and the cloud peppered sky, your photograph gives a lovely sense of perspective leading back toward the horizon. But there is a spot in the clouds (left of center, above the hill on the right) that I found terribly distracting. UFO? Sky looking back at you? Bit of fluff on the lens? Whatever it is, it looks out of place.
The lines in the sand are leading the eye through the picture to the horizon and the oasis at the right is given an impression of how big the desert is.
A striking image. I just purchased a lens cleaning pen for just the circumstances you were in for this shot. Even after the shot is taken it's easy enough to clone out the various lens dots you've been stuck with. If you don't have software for it, The Gimp is free and powerful. Sweet landscape you captured there.
