Such an unusual color display. Have never seen one like it. Guess you don't know the name. Was it a plant or just a cutting? Good luck with it if a plant, and if a cutting, it should last a couple of days or even a week in water.

Well you must have a fantastic greenthumb! Gorgeous orchids. The reds, maroons and yellow colors are natures awesome color palette. Very nice clarity & details of this brilliant bloom. I love growing orchids, such a myth that they're hard to grow. Don't know this variety but it's definitely not the usual variety sold as houseplants. You rescued a trash and got treasure as a reward.
