This is the counterpoint to "Spread Your Wings and Fly". The Calatrava addition to the Milwaukee Art Museum with the wings down, to resemble a bird at rest. I took it slightly off center because I liked the way the sun hit it at this angle...ah, that sun looks so inviting, hard to believe the wind chill was -26 when I snapped this one!

The architectural design of the Milwaukee Art Museum is incredible, an exhibit unto itself. Gorgeous capture. You deserve a medal for being out in -26º weather.

Excellent Rich. Both photos of this are really good. I think the lighting and angle are both exceptional. Cows shouldn't bother this one. Good post.

I really don't think I would have been able to get out of my warm car to take a shot on such a cold day, but I'm glad you did it anyway, I love the lines of this place..just outstanding. And I like how you captured it too. I do kinda wish you had been able to get the tippy top of that pole too, but its still gorgeous. Love those colours..Verena
