My good friend Alan was kind enough to take this shot and rework it. I loved his version and with his permission reposted it. If you don't care for it blame the original photographer, if you do like it take a moment and drop kudo's where they are due - to Alan - pls. Honest comments and commentary please.

When you start with a great image like this you pretty much can't go wrong. Rich had the (legendary) heavy glass at the Milwakee Zoo to contend with. I used about six layers in Photoshop to correct the color channels one at a time, and then desaturated the background a little. I finished with a little border darkening and overall sharpening. Rich is setting a great example by promoting honest comments and suggestions, and we can help each other the most by soliciting and giving positive ideas for improvement along with the "great capture" comments. Thanks Rich for sharing all that you do!

I have to admit that this looks like a more natural setting for a jungle cat. Excellent work you both have done with this.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
