You tell me this time. Where would this road take you? We do love our winding roads through the parks here in Milwaukee. This was shot in Underwood Parkway, about 4 miles from home and is dedicated to my friend Shelly who is on a long and twisting journey of her own. I know she will find beauty at the end of her road. I hope each of you will too. I ran it through NeatImage, but I'm not sure if the sky is still a little noisy or not. Honest comment and critique, please.

I don't notice any noise in the sky GBRx3 but I am not a quiet person, so who am I to say.

This road would take me to the backroads of my mind where the memories linger and talk. It is very indicative of how a portion of those backroads are in color but mostly in b/w.

There are a lot of curves with the trees and the road. It is a journey I will enjoy again. Nice post.

This road would take me back to Florida, because i don't like the snow. ( Don't have snow tires on my Harley ). I though the sky was noisy but it was the dust on my monitor. A good job on this B&W Rich. Nice work

I like the twist in the road and the bark of the lovely trees standing by. There is a serenity about there not being anything else but those in the image and the road I would willingly follow would take me home.

I like the road being a smear on the landscape.

This road would take me back to Nova Scotia, Canada. We don't have trees like this in the Yukon, but we do have the snow, and snow is snow, worldwide. I like this photo, and it's one of my favourites now.

Looks just like the road that goes into St. Joseph's Cemetery here in Fremont, Ohio. No fooling. That's exactly what popped into mind when I saw this. Very nice B&W.

I travel a winding road similar to this one to get to my home ... where ever it leads to I'm sure it is a pleasant place. I like the starkness of the trees in comparison to the soft snow. Wonderful capture & a lovely dedication to your friend, Rich.

ps ... no visible noise either. :-)

No noise in the sky at my end. Love the composition. Get on that Harley and ride...A bit cooked in the shadows but it actually adds to the stark, bold effect. Just for kicks and grins, I'll download and play with the contrast if you don't mind. anne :-)

There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com. FREE website to share all your snaps plus a whole lot more. Thanks for giving honest and usable feedback. Blessings to all, anne :-)

Beautiful snowy 'journey' image, Rich. Had to fave it... I guess, ideally, this would be my road home to Vermont. I spent summers there as a kid, always thought I'd end up there. Hmmmm, so what am I doing on Cape Cod?
