Many people in the United States, myself included to be honest, are woefully ignorant of the Muslim/Middle Eastern world and customs. We don't understand why women must cover their faces, or walk behind their men. When we hear that in Afghanastan a law has been passed that basically allows a Husband to rape his Wife we cringe and shake our heads. In this, the fourth and final shot of my '15 minute' segment, the first woman I alluded to in this narrative was dropped back off by the man who had picked her up. She got out of the car, and her 'man' appeared, seemingly from nowhere. She handed her money over to him and waited outside in the rain while he went and got what he wanted. When he came back out he didn't even look at her, just started walking up the street. She submissivley fell into place several paces behind him and followed him up the street. Perhaps we, as Americans, should take the blinders off and begin looking at how we allow women to be treated on our own Savage Streets before we begin shaking our heads and cringing about the Muslim world. I would like to think that the last 4 posts were an oddity, but I have a very strong and sinking feeling that they are just an average 15 minutes in this part of the Savage City. I only have a few more posts to go in this entire series, but will be out of town on business for the next few days. Stay tuned.

Fear is probably keeping her a few paces behind GBRx3. Fear of being alone, fear of going hungry, fear of no place to go, fear of not having a mate, fear of not getting a fix. Whatever the situation, there is an accompanying fear. I think we are all afraid to get involved. Trust has been flushed down the toilet.

I somewhat agree with what Tick is saying for he is a wise man. But I am going to take it one step further. Things like this man and woman, the crack deals and gang banging go on because we as Americans allow it to go on. I am not talking vigilanty justice but passing no nonsense laws and geting the panty waste judges off of the benches that let these people go on technicalities. Now that I have rambled on for so long this is the best of the series. Great work.

This image, taken with your narrative, sort of... well, not sort of... just plain blows me away for both personal and universal reasons. It touches on the very heart of human pain.
