I titled this so because when I look at this it makes my eyes wander all over. I don't know if it is too distracting because of all the lines or not but I figured I would let you decide for yourselves. Enjoy!
no, not whatsoever. I could swear I've seen a shot like this before.. hehe
I like what you've done with this, shooting it in a portrait orientation gave the stairs and hand rails a tighter, woven feel. I'm not sure what, but I mght've done something else with the trees, either cropped them out, or included more of them in the shot. Good catch.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
One of the things they taught us in Photography is that Lines can draw your eyes all over the photograph. No where have I seen that more true recently than in this picture.
It is an amazing shot because, while it is not special in subject matter, it is pleasing to the eyes. It captured my attention even when I had only seen it in the thumbnail version, and when I saw it up close, it only got better. Your eyes are drawn to look over every centimeter of the photo. That is a rare--but valuable-- trait in a photo. Spectacular!
I don't think it's too much, I think it's evidence that you have a very good eye for a shot. I'm heartened to see that this has got a good score too because it's a dynamic, well-observed shot that's different from the average. The perspective is particularly good, it gives lots and lots of depth.
I don't think it does, it is a little disorienting, but thats all. COmposition is good and this one is really sharp, in focus.
I also like the brown wood, the way its railing up, meeting the light brown of the buildings and the green of the leaves.
Just great!

A dramatic photo! Well done. I love the dynamics of the criss-crossing handrails accentuated by a day of strong shadows. Looks like my own "Aerobic Ascent" might clear up some of the confusion, huh?
