I wasn't expecting what I got at full view from your explanation. The flowers and buds present themselves well and don't make the image feel dark to me at all. I like blue and grey contrasts so this is a pleasing image to me. ;)

This is a rather interesting edit, what is the white buldge on the bottom, any way good shot. and better edit.

I agree with the other comments. Would also add that it suggests something Oriental, maybe as though it were painted on silk. It's really very lovely and serene.

I don't feel this is dark either, but rather serene as ninjatabby stated. I also like the detail of the thorns on the branches. There is something very appealing to me about this edit. Good job. Thank you
