What an interesting work, Rob. At first look I couldn't understand where the sheep was.

Rob - How can anyone say anything baahhhh-d about a cute sheep, other than to imitate its sound? While not usually a fan of strong frame-like vignettes like this, it works well in the composition. You got some interesting effects in paint.net. Thad

The B&W really works with this photo.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Rob...

I just got back into town and have about 60 comments listed. I'm going to pick just one from each of my Caedes friends or I'll be here for a month. I did scan your other recent postings, and they're all worthy of the "rvdb" trademark, but I picked this shot because it reminds me of an old girlfriend. :-) My sister in law grew up near Rotterdam and has told me about you guys. We'll leave it at that.

A typically interesting and unusual posting from one of the most unusual photographers on Caedes. Your works are unique, and I never know from day to day what to expect. With a title like "Sheep" I was naturally expecting a waterfront scene. The graytone was a great choice. I still haven't decided on the vignetting.

It does have a victorian feel to it, probably the vignette and border doing that. The sheep does not stand out from the grass making the image a little difficult to discern at first which makes it one of those images you have to really look at.

Nice experimental photo work, Rob. Perhaps needs better contrast to make the sheep stand out in the photo. Some graininess in the shot could be smoothed out.

I'd like to see just a little more of the sheep, the black and white really work for me though. Unique work.
