Rob - Is the rose dying or have you finally captured that which many have not been able to do - the emanation of the rose's fragrance? An different and interesting presentation. Thad

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine

Creative work, Rob. If I look different at this image I can see melting icecream. :) Well.. maybe it's hot here ;)

The rose looks like it has puckered up to give one last kiss Rob.
Interesting, creative and beautiful.

It makes me feel heavy-hearted, but also hopeful. There will be a new summer and new roses next year. Different and beautiful!

What you're not telling us, Darth, is that you killed the rose just so that you could photograph it, you sick bastard. One of these days I'm going to have to get off of my lazy butt and learn to use Paint.net. You use Paint.net like Bernstein used to use his wand when he conducted the New York Philharmonic. Just a stunning capture with some help from the creepy depths of your mind.

I suspect that pretty much anything put in a blender is guaranteed to buy the farm. You must have used high-speed photography to capture this beauty as it whirled around and around. The motion blur gives it away.
An interesting and creative image, Rob.

The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does. ~William Blake

I don't know but I think your manip looks delicious. It reminds me of strawberry milk. You know you can eat rose petals, right?

Creative, you know you could have added the petals to a salad. Clever idea here.
