Not easy to focus on something so small that is moving, Rob, but I'd say you did a fine job of it anyway. Pretty white flowers.

Not to bad on the focus at all I'd say. Nice background with the delicate little white flowers. I can see why the wasp likes them.

You are such a pussy, Darth. I'm shocked and saddened. This little fellow is not Hymenoptera which is the order that contains bees, ants and wasps. This innocent little guy gets through life by masquerading as a tough guy but is in the order Diptera which means two wings and says that he's a fly that likes pollen.
Pretty nice shot for hand held. There are some people on Caedes that can shoot a waterfall at midnight without a tripod. I don't fall into that category. That's why you rarely see me post any shots of insects or anything that moves for that matter.
Love the greens and cute little flowers in the background. Don't be afraid the next time you see one of these little flies. And watch out when you bend over because someone might see your vagina. :-)

I'd say you did an excellent job, Rob. Wasps & bees are difficult subjects to begin with & I can see this one's detail nicely. Wonderful capture.
