Most people will say the Gull should have been centered. But, I like this prospective. It gives the photo definition. Well done my friend.

I would get as far away as possible too Rob. Shooting up at a gull is like emptying a honey pot. Good, clear shot.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.

He almost flew out of the viewfinder. They are fast. I can't keep up with them most of the time. The blue and the gull make a wonderful DT for those with lots of icons.

Now this is different ... minimalistic & pleasant on the desktop. I like the detail on the gull. Nice work, Rob.

Hi, Rob...

If ever a shot was ripe for excessive noise, this would have been it. Blue skies give me fits, yet this sky couldn't be quieter. Actually the skies here in California are the identical color as yours. The only difference is that around here we have turkey vultures rather than gulls.

I'm starting to figure a pattern in your selection of postings. Whether you're posting grandchildren, filthy back alleys, Paint.net manipulations, dreary waterfront harbor shots or pleasant marinas, your pattern of postings is that there is no pattern.

A very interesting posting. My personal opinion is that you had a macro of the gull and dropped in the blue sky. There's no way you simply shot a picture of this gull. It's just too unRoblike.

Captured just before he's escaped from the frame. Unusual but very effective composition. Good work, Rob.
