At least the birdhouse has its heart in the right place Rob. Some birds are what they call migrant worker/tenants. They have to follow the sun. I like the background

While some birds follow the sun, others stay behind and become a little less reserved than they already were with all the commotion and activity in the summertime. I look forward to birdwatching in Autumn. -Great capture and meaning. Perfect lighting and shadow, and detail of the wooding. =)

Rob...You've done a superb job of capturing the textures in the wood. I made the mistake of touching my monitor and have yet another splinter. See? I'm holding up my finger and showing you the splinter. No. Get closer to your monitor. There you go.

What you don't see in this shot is that the green mesh that is hanging from the bird house and is pulling the bird house out of kilter is full of dead birds that were caught in the mesh. Very nasty trick, even for you, Darth. So the birds aren't really gone. They're just out of the shot and are aging to perfection for some bird stew.

I like that background as well Rob. The empty house is kind of sad.

A good capture of this bird domicile, Rob. Looks to be a little drafty. Good textures and colours in your photo, and nice details.

Hopefully a winter bird will make the bird house its home until spring arrives again. Wonderful colors & textures ... excellent capture, Rob.

Well, I have a feeling that the city condemned the building and the bird moved on. Clever shot, Rob.
