As long as it doesn't roll too, Rob. Lots of great earthy colors in this one rock. Lots of great texture too. Sometimes things we take for granted are just bathed in beauty like this rock.
We both know, Rob, that this is not a photo of a rock face. This, of course, is an aerial view from about 150 miles up as you flew passed one of the moons of Uranus and your way back to your home galaxy. What appear to be small fissures in the stone are actually crevices three times the size of the Grand Canyon here on Earth. And those minute inconsistencies in the stone traversing from southeast to northwest are mountain ranges that would dwarf the Himalayas. I hope your trip back to Xenon went well. The moon's surface is quite colorful. And your camera lens from that height is remarkable. the CIA would love to get a lens like that in Earth orbit especially when I'm sunning myself in the nude.
Yes it rock but it as very nice texture and colours plus light. With the colour in the rock it looks like it might contain iron-ore with the rust like colour. It holds some lovely shapes and veins with in this rock too.
It may not be all it's cracked up to be, but it is indeed a rock. Nice textures and colours in the photo. The lighting could use some work to cut down on the glare along the right hand side.
