There are some beautiful colours in this shot and great reflections in the water too.The white in the swans body and orange beak stands out beautifully.Plus i love the ripples and light in the water too.
I'm still trying to throttle back on my comments before they toss me off of Caedes completely; so bare with me as I continue to try to edit my critiques.
I don't see any manipulation in this shot which is so unlike you. This is pure photography at its best. Thanks for rubbing it in that I can't seem to get a decent focused shot of our local swan. We did have three swans at Atascadero Lake. Apparently swans eat small pebbles to help them digest food. The alpha female swallowed some fisherman's lead sinkers and nearly died. When they took her to the vet, her mate was frantic and looked for her for weeks. After she got back, her mate had left town and a younger male started putting on the moves to impress her. Because she was in a weakened state, they moved her to another lake; so we went from three to one. I'm at the lake nearly every day walking my dog. Hopefully one of these days I'll manage a decent swan shot worth posting.
I like the symmetry of this image with the two swans in nearly identical poses. Don't care for that dark shadow, but I'm not sure that cloning out a shadow in water is even within your skill set. It's certainly nothing I would attempt.
Love the colors and am very jealous of the sharp focus.
