Knock! Knock!
Who's there?
Roger!
Roger who?
No Dorothy!
Dorothy who?
I am here with the Caviar.
Set it by the door.

It even has a letter slot or pay bills slot Rob.
I suspect there is someone using this for a hideout.
You are good at finding textures of a different kind. Put a bowl of water by the door and enter it in the water contest.

Thanks for your votes.

Well this is one strange but good artistic photo and nice capture of shapes and lines, plus nice sharp detail as well.

Well, you make us wonder what's behind the door. Caviar, perhaps? Excellent details, Rob.

I like all this metal. Guess they didn't want this to burn. Unique shot.

Rob - All this metal makes the place look like a modern fortress. Then, the flimsy door handle and lock give it a slightly less intimidating look. I like how you composed this. Thad

An interesting find, Rob, looks nothing like a swan. Nice details and textures in the photo. I like the rust stains running down the wall.

The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does. ~William Blake

I dont think a manip is needed with this one. It has enough effects going on without any help. Great shot.

Now that's the Rob I know and love. Great shot. I love that mail slot. If I were the local postman, I'd be afraid to get my hand to close to that slot. Something not quite human lives on the other side of that rusting door.

Is this your place? Just kidding (sort of). Other than the mail slot I'm quite taken with the cracked paint and the rust on the door. You achieved some magnificent detail with this posting, Rob.

Roger

P.S. Do you think I'm an idiot? I know this isn't a swan. It's an old pair of dress shoes. :-)

P.P.S. I wish I had the time to write some more, but my little car wreck has me 62 comments behind.
